After watching the excellent new Predator movie “Prey”, and seeing some online discussion about the best way to continue the Terminator franchise, it occurred to me that there is a viable way to do “Terminator vs. Predator” right:
A non-Arnold, original-mission Terminator is sent back in time to kill Sarah Connor’s mother while pregnant with Sarah and runs into a Predator on the hunt in the area where she lives.
Set it in a rural area to keep potential targets low, so the meeting of the two killers is inevitable.
Include a nearby military base, where Sarah’s mother works as a civilian, to amp up the conflict opportunities with mid-1960s military firepower.
