I’ve long wanted to see a movie that casts every hero and villain against type.
It would be really interesting to round up every actor who only ever gets to play villains, and cast them all as the good guys in a movie where the sterotypically good guys are actually the villains.
The handsome men and beautiful women all plotting to destroy the world in some vast James Bondian scheme while all the unattractive, deformed, scary-looking, intimidating, non-white, non-Christian, Russian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern characters do all the right things to bring down the big, beautiful baddies.
It would be interesting to see the effect the dissonance between long-entrenched expectation and onscreen action would have on audiences.
